For a popular dutch winery, ''Barrelwijn'' in Groningen (Netherlands), me and my friend Bart where asked to design a climate cabinet for white wines.

''As if he had always been their. The specially designed wine-climate-cabinet blends in perfectly with its environment. Just like the existing furniture we constructed the cabinet out of thick wooden beams. The heart of the cabinet is a salvaged refrigerator from a former vending-machine, and has enough cooling capacity to keep over 200 bottle at a perfect drinking temperature. The cold air flows through a custom made grill with a special bottle-glass design. Disregarding its enormous size, it hides elegantly behind an existing window frame. This Creates a semi-transparent view to the tasting area, as if looking through an aquarium filled with wine bottles. The wine-climate-cabinet makes not only a functional piece of furniture, but is definitely an eye-catcher in Barrelwijn Winery.''
